About Matthew Goinz
Musician and educator Matthew Goinz has performed in venues around the world, created arrangements that have been heard from California to South Korea, and enjoyed collaborations with prominent artists of our day. Based in New York City, Matthew is the Founding Artistic Director of “The Sound Between”, a professional ensemble dedicated to the creation of choral theater experiences, and maintains active performing relationships with a number of Grammy-recognized ensembles. A sought-after vocal arranger, he most recently worked on Mad Gallica’s epic, genre-bending debut EP, “Enter the Vortex.” Matthew enjoys an active career as a conductor, music director, pianist, vocalist, and arranger, making his home in West Harlem with his wife, soprano and actor Sophie Amelkin, and Lucy, the sweetest beagle that ever was.
